Some people are said to be born with a silver spoon in their mouth…Jody Stevens, proprietor & cake designer of jodycakes, was born with a wooden spoon!
From an early age, Jody spent her time in the kitchen – cracking eggs, measuring flour and stirring up concoctions with her mother, Sharron, memorizing all of the family’s recipes. After college, Jody went on to serve in the United States Air Force during Desert Storm. Even during her military service, she spent all of her free time creating new recipes as well as adapting her family favorites to make them hers, with a twist. Always encouraged to follow her heart and share her love of food with others, she merged her culinary talent and her desire to bring the world her new venture, jodycakes!!
